Fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Indian higher education is crucial for several reasons. It empowers students with the skills and mindset to thrive in an ever-evolving global economy. It nurtures creativity, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability – qualities that are indispensable in the modern job market.

College Institutions innovation councils and smart India Hackathon organized a Workshop on 27th September 2023 to discuss the significance of Innovation culture in Higher Education Institutions. The session handled by Ms.Shareena E M ( Asst prof, Innovations Ambassador, Mes college marampally). Princiapl Dr. Murugan. R preside the function. Ms Krishana Raj delivered  welcome address.Vice Principal Lagheesh.V.M ,MESCAS IIC President Rahul Thampi R conveyed greetings and Ms Febina Feroze proposed Vote of thanks.

The event aimed to raise awareness about project-based learning and real-world problem-solving approaches. Such experiential learning methods empower students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios, promoting critical thinking and creativity.
