CAMPUS RADIO INAUGURATION

REPORT

In connection with World Radio Day, the Campus Radio was inaugurated on 08/02/2024 at 10.00 AM in the college seminar hall with much excitement and togetherness. The Campus Radio aims to foster a stronger campus community by providing an inclusive platform for expression, information and entertainment. The vibrant RJ team, comprising Devipriya K P (II B.Sc),  Meenakshy Prakash (II B.Com), Fathima Nasrin C A (I BCA) and Akhil Binu Koshy (III B.Sc),played a pivotal role in bringing the event to life. Ms. Shahna C.K  and Ms. Haznath Sajith were the coordinators of the programme.

The event commenced with a solemn prayer. A warm welcome was extended to all attendees by Ms. Shahna C K. Principal Dr. Murugan R presides over the meeting. Mr. Jaleel, Radio Jockey, Akashvani Rainbow FM Kochi  inaugurated the campus radio by revealing its name “Campus Beats”. Principal Dr. Murugan R released the signature tune of Campus Beats. Mr. Lagheesh V M, Vice Principal and Ms. Betsy Manuel , IQAC Coordinator gave falicitations for the ceremony. Principal Dr. Murugan R  honored the chief guest. Ms. Haznath Sajid proposed vote of thanks to all participants and supporters. The event concluded with a national anthem. After the official function, the chief guest conducted a game show to entertain the audience. It involved an active participation of all faculty members and 90 students from various departments.
