REPORT

A one day Faculty Development Programme was organised by IQAC on 19 th
March 2024 in the seminar hallat 10.00 am with the aim of equipping faculty
members with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively implement
the new four year degree programme. The FDP focused on various aspects
such as curriculum design, pedagogy, assessment methodsand student
support services to ensure a smooth transition to the four year degree
programme.
The FDP commenced with a solemn prayer. A warm welcome was extended
to all by Ms. Betsy Manuel, IQAC Coordinator. Dr. Murugan R, Principal
delivered the introductory Speech and Adv. M.M. Salim, Secretary and
Correspondent of college Managing Committee presides over the meeting.
Jb. P.K.A Jabbar, Vice Chairman of College Managing Committee; Mr.
Lagheesh V M, Vice Principal and Mr. Rahul Thampi R, Nodel Officer of
FYUGP of College gave falicitations for the ceremony. The session was
handled by the resource person Dr. A.S Sumesh, Associate Professor, MES
College, Nedumkandam and Convenor of Regulations Committee for FYUG
Implementation, MG University, Kottayam. Ms. Divya Antony, Staff
Secretary proposed vote of thanks to all participants and supporters. The
event concluded with a National Anthem. The FDP was attended by faculty
members from various colleges, and included presentation and interactive
session. The certificates were distributed to all the participants. Overall, the
FDP on the Four Year Degree Programme was a success in preparing our
faculty members for the implementation of this new academic structure and
ensuring the best learning experience for our students.
