Internal Complaint Committee

Objectives

The Internal Complaint Cell (ICC) within a college serves as a crucial mechanism for ensuring a
safe and inclusive environment for all members of the campus community. Its primary objectives
include providing a confidential platform for reporting incidents of harassment, discrimination, or
misconduct; conducting impartial investigations to address complaints; implementing preventive
measures to minimize recurrence; and holding individuals accountable for their actions. Through
educational initiatives, the ICC promotes awareness and understanding of issues related to
harassment and discrimination while providing support to victims, including access to counseling
and legal advice. The ICC also maintains documentation of complaints and actions taken,
ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Continuous evaluation and improvement
of the ICCs processes are essential to effectively address the evolving needs of the college
community and foster a culture of respect and accountability on campus.
