 Payasam Fest

                                                                                            REPORT

The Department of Commerce organised a Payasam Fest  as a part of Onam Celebration on 18/08/2023 at 11.00 AM with much excitement and togetherness. Ms. Betsy Manuel and Ms. Shahna C.K were the coordinators of the programme. Payasam counters were set up in the college courtyard. The students standing at the counters dressed up in traditional style. Dr. Shijila Beevi, the MG University Syndicate member, inaugurated the event. Traditional payasams were prepared and sold by the  B.Com students on this occasion. Dr. Reshmi, the Commerce Subject Expert; Adv. Elizabeth Mathew, CRS Chambers Kerala High Court; Mr. Sangeeth Vinod, Asianet Star Singer Fame; Dr. Murugan R, the Principal; Adv. M M Salim, the Secretary & Correspondent of the College Managing Committee; Mr. P K A Jabbar, the Vice Chairman; Mr. M A Abdulla, the Treasurer; Mr. C M Asharaf, the Joint Secretary; Mr. Abdul  Nissar B H, the Joint Secretary; Mr. Lagheesh V M, the Vice Principal; Ms. Shahana K H , the Head of the Department of Commerce; Ms. Betsy Manuel and Ms. Shahna C K, the Programme Coordinators were joined in the event.  Mr. Riyas and Mr. Mershad from III B.Com CA and Ms. Thara Sulthana and Mr. Ajil Mohan  from III B.Com Tax were the student coordinators of the event. It involved an active participation of all faculty members and students, and the event was a huge success.
