MES MK Mackar Pillay College for Advanced Studies, Dept. of English has organized a quiz competition in connection with Republic Day on 24 January 2023 at 1.30 pm in the college mini auditorium. The program started at 1.30 pm with 44 teams .Each group consist of 2 students. There were three rounds in total. The preliminary round was a multiple choice question session based on general questions about Republic Day. The second round was purely about constitution and the final round asked question on democracy. After the prelims 20 teams were qualified for the second round. In the last round we got 6 finalists. Winners were Aisha and Aleena of Third BSc. Bioinformatics. The Republic Day quiz competition had an array of fun and brain tickling questions. The Department was so happy and surprised to find that the participation was so massive. It added to the learning process of students so effectively.
