The departments of Microbiology and Biotechnology in association with IQAC, conducted a webinar on the topic “EPIGENETICS” on 26th MAY2021 on Google Meet platform. The resource person was Dr.SHALINI V senior associate scientific writer INDEGENE Pvt LTD Bangalore). 

Various duties were assigned among the teachers.Ms. Unnimaya M was the coordinator. The brochure designing was assigned to Ms.Jesna Muhammed CM. Certificate of appreciation and participants certificates were designed by Ms. Krishna Raj, Dept. of Biotechnology. You tube live streaming duty was assigned to Ms Seethal K.S and Ms.Anu Varghese, Dept. of computer science. Registration form and feedback form was prepared by Ms.Jesna Muhammed CM.

 About 100 participants were present on google meet and rest of the participants attended via You tube live. Students and faculties from various educational institutions attended the webinar. The webinar commenced at 10.00 am. Sree Rakhi Ranjan 2nd year MSc. Microbiology hosted the event. Ms.Unnimaya.M delivered the welcome address. The session was inaugurated by Principal Professor Dr .Muraleedharan Nair, Ms. Pinky Thomas delivered the vote of thanks. Meeting was over at 12:30pm.
