MES M.K. Mackar Pillay College for Advanced Studies, Edathala, celebrated World Environment Day on 5 June 2026 by organizing a sapling planting programme to promote environmental sustainability. Saplings were planted on the college campus and at the adopted school, Government U.P. School, Kunjattukara, with the active participation of students and faculty members.

The programme highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and encouraged students to contribute towards creating a greener and healthier future through responsible environmental practices.
